While we call Columbus, Ohio our home, Omar is originally from a little farther south: Cincinnati, Ohio. Okay, technically a suburb of Cincinnati named Loveland, but close enough. This hometown stake caught the attention of a writer for Cincinnati Magazine. She reached out earlier this year to write a little story about us and our journey so far.
It finally hit the shelves this month and we couldn’t be happier with the article. As a bonus, also included in this issue is a feature on Touchdown Jesus (a 50ft Jesus statue that was recently struck by lightning and is now being rebuilt) and a cover featuring one of the best wooden roller coasters in the world: THE BEAST. Make sure to pick up a copy if you’re in the 5-1-3 area code. Just don’t try in Loveland because I’m fairly sure my mom bought every single copy and has shown it to pretty much everyone.
